Vicente Anthony Ada, or “Tony” as he is known to his island community served his first full term as a Senator in the 31st Guam Legislature. He was elected to the 30th Guam Legislature in a special election held to fill a vacated position and served the remainder of that term.

His humble beginnings as the son of a local businessman and former Guam senator influenced Tony to continue his family’s legacy of service. First, as an active duty service member in the U.S. Army, then as a private businessman for over 16 years before turning his skills toward government service.

In his consecutive terms as a legislator, Tony authored multiple laws dealing with economic development, open government, education, public safety and public health. He continues to focus his efforts on issues affecting the quality of life of the people of Guam. Recognizing his leadership and statesman abilities, his Republican colleagues chose him to serve as the Minority Whip in the 31st Guam Legislature, the Minority Leader in the 32nd and 33rd Guam Legislatures and the 2nd Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Guam.
